The One-Post Month

Okay, so I've been kind of busy or something lately. I don't know where I've been.
So I'll type about it for you.
Okay give me a moment to think back to where I was a month ago..

One month ago, me and my mom were meeting up with Alex and his parents to eat. It was this awesome sushi (Hah!) place, and Alex got one of those food-art things with his. I messed with it a little, and liked the results.

The next day, I went and got my leaners license.

From there, we went to Mall at Mellinia (Always spell that wrong) and they had the biggest candy bars ever!! They were like bricks, just heavier! 5lb Hershey bar, and 10lb Crunch bar. This is America, all right.

The morning after that, I woke up and went downtown for a while. I love it down there, especially when it's cold.

Then there was this really nice lady that was reminded of someone that she used to be close with earlier in her life. As she put it, I "can't be him, cuz he has granbabies now."
She talked to me, and told me all about her life for a good 30 minutes. It made me feel bad, because it sounded like she had a really bad life.

The next two days, Wednesday and Thursday, I went to Ericas youth group, and then to a homeless candlelight vigil that they had. It was pretty amazing. (Erica, I have the photos in a .zip file, and am going to upload them for you.)

Then.. skipping a few weeks because I'm tired of typing and resizing + optimizing pictures, two days ago I went to Universal, and it was absolutely amazing! We got free tickets, because I know the head security guy there, and then, as soon as we got into Islands of Adventure, he called me, and then he gave us free gap passes!!!
Here's some pictures I took:

Downtown

I got to go downtown, and I walked around for about an hour and took some photography. I really like these shots, except I messed up and took them all in VGA (e-mail) quality. So what you see here is as big as they get. (I mean, after you click on them. They're slightly bigger.)
I did have fun though.. I love the city. There are so many people down there, and some of them are friendly enough to come up and talk to you, some of them are skittish enough to be scared of me asking for directions to a Starbucks.
I also like exploring the unconventional areas. Little nooks and crannies in parking garages, back alleys, etc. etc.
Oh, and that leaf. It is on the sidewalk. Yes, that's right. A brick sidewalk. How cool is that?

The Park... and Stuff.

Yesterday at the park was fun. Got to see my uncle, and throw a nurf ball around with him a bit.

This next one was just taken around my house.

Last night, I tried to make my own infrared photography filter, and I did a pretty good job, in my opinion. The below photo is an example. It came out so red because I do not have a manual white balance in my camera. If I did it wouldn't be so red..

Here's an example of a professional infrared photography shot. This is what my photo would look more like if I could adjust the white balance, although it probably wouldn't be as focused.

I AM NOT DEAD!

Okay, this is for all you people who are so amazed by your iPod Touch's accelerometer (Alex). This is what my Macbook Pro is going to have. The example is on a regular Macbook, because all of the others were being used by people. So, enjoy.

Here's a link because the video was too slow to put directly into my blog. (Right click> Save link as... if you want to save the video.)

Now for some interesting-ish pictures.

An extremely helpful sign I saw.

I spent Halloween with Maddie, but she kept covering her face when I would try and take a photo. Rather disappointing.

I still don't quite know what this thing is. It was like.. uSpace or something. No clue. (Sure looks funny, though, doesn't it?)

Haha... "Pain relieving" Anyone want to wear that as deodorant for a day?
